What an odd little find! When Peter puts it on, he won't notice anything different other than a faint sense of power emanating from it. The power of the bracelet is only truly apparent in times of great stress and when he happens to be underwater. Whenever Peter feels threatened, should he raise his hand, the whole of a 20 yard radius becomes saturated by thick, black ink that is cloying and impossible for anyone but Peter to see through, causing considerable disorientation to anyone else caught in it. This may give him a chance to escape. However, this is not something he completely controls and will function whenever he is legitimately afraid. This effect may happen up to once an hour.
When underwater, he will find that he is able to swim perfectly and breathe underwater without issue, though his lower half will be transformed into that of a squid or octopus so long as he is underwater.
