There's a lot to like. His smile makes other people smile, and he's always willing to help everyone even if it might get him hurt. He can be funny sometimes, but other times I just shake my head at what he says. I think you'd like him, too! If he ever comes here...

Ah, he sounds like the sort that everyone loves, deep down. They're an interesting sort, though I do hate sharing attention. That's the downside when they're so good by nature.

He loves all of his friends a lot a lot.

I know the sort. We had one like that, before. Mister forgiveness himself. His name was Rex.

Why not? Don't be afraid of rejection now. That's part of kissing. It always comes with a bit of risk the first time.

Did he leave?

It's not rejection I'm afraid of. He can hit hard.

Leave? Oh no, this is in my homeworld. Rex has never been here, I assure you. The wings make him hard to miss.

Now, now, getting punched is all part of the risk and fun in a kiss. Oh dear, I'm starting to sound like another of my friends back home now, though it is true.

Is he a bird?

Being punched for kissing someone doesn't sound like fun...

He is half harpuia, from his mother's side. They are a race of winged people we encountered in our journeys. His father Duran took a shying to Silvi, the one who traveled with us.

Oh, I suppose that's fair. Bruises aren't quite as fun when they come that way.

So his mom traveled with you?

I don't think he'd hit me, but I have to consider it.

For quite a long time, until their son was born and, some time after, the two of them passed from the living. We raised Rex, much like we raised Duran, Thoma and Ladius before him.

It's all a little complicated I suppose.

... so the age the profile gave you isn't wrong?

I'll try it. We'll see what happens.

Quite accurate. Onelthes live for centuries, much like elves and syrium, though I do not know if you know those races either. I am barely in my middle years, truth told, though sometimes I feel like an old woman.

I will be curious if you get the chance while you are here to hear how it goes. I hope your nose does not get bloodied.

Are those more species in your world?

I don't think Sora can hit that hard... But I'll message you. Definitely.

They are. Each of the gods created a race that was made in some piece of their image, some glimmer of their will. The Syrium were Chaos' creation, and the High Elves were Lenion's. There are many races in my world, as you might guess, all unique in their own way.

Gods in your world are real?

[He only knows of the gods in Olympus. And they all looked human with strange skin colors.]

They are, yet they were. They are all dead now, and many of them were dead long before I was ever born. But they are still quite real, even if dead.

[missingache]

But... how can they influence anything when dead?

[onerthes]

The things that they did affected the world as you might expect of a god. So powerful an impact it was that it was remembered for a long time afterwards.

Gods sounds more like sorcerers than powerful beings...

[onerthes]

An easy misunderstanding. Gods wielded and created not only our world but our magic, so in a way they are sorcerers. And yet they are a great deal more.

[missingache]

The only god I know is a jerk by the name of Hades.
He's just a god of the Underworld.

[onerthes]

I only ever spoke with the few that remained for moments. Some were penitent for their crimes. Others were jut like your Hades.

[missingache]

Crimes? So what they did to your world was considered crimes?

[onerthes]

Not in any court, but it is a bit complicated. Basically? They nearly destroyed the world that they created in a war between each other centuries ago. Half decided the world was beyond redemption and wished to destroy it all, start over. Half thought it could be salvaged, wished to spare it.

The ones who sought to save it died to seal away those seeking to destroy it, and Lenion the god of Light gave up their last gasps to finish the seal. Long after, the seals finally were opened and the gods of darkness were made to pay before they could kill us all.

Some, like Mercury, were contrite. Others? Less so.
