Let's be frank about 'holy' energy. I helped kill my gods. Holy is a bit of a misnomer. There is energy of life and order, which helps stabilize the complexity of living creatures, and there is energy of death and entrophy which destabilizes it. You're a bit more... the latter for obvious reasons. So was that young man with the Obscurus who was here for a time.

"Holy" energy is the former. Order, which breaks down the entropic warpings that fashion the undead as a rule. Decaying, broken corpses, brought to their natural state and debossed. It's all a bit ... analytical in the end, not actually religious, I assure you.
